Is that the Mendenhall Glacier? Looks like the fireweed has almost reached the top!
Beautiful shot - the fireweed is magnificent. Where is this shot taken?
That's taken at a place called Marmot Meadows on the Harding Icefield Trail alongside Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. We lived in Seward for two years and my wife took that picture during one of her first hikes up to the icefield.
